Cooking School and Mad About Tuscany Host

Sioban was born and lived in Yallingup until graduating from high school. She trained in Hotel Management at the Blue Mountain hotel Management school in Sydney and on graduation worked in Sydney and Queensland front of house in restaurants and hotels.

At 24 she chose to pursue her love of cooking, completing her apprenticeship under Neil Perry in Sydney before working at Martin Boetz’ renowned Thai restaurant Longrain.

With a yearn to travel she spent 2 years living and working in Tuscany before returning to Australia with her Italian partner.

In 2004 she purchased the family business and set up her very popular Mad About Food cooking school as well as running 4 self contained cottages on her mums 120 acre property overlooking smiths beach.

Over the years the Wildwood Valley business has grown and diversified to include week tours in Tuscany with the help from her experienced team and is now offering the venue to hold small functions and weddings.

Sioban has a reputation for exceptional service and hospitality in her accommodation and cooking schools in Western Australia and her small group tours in Tuscany, Mad About Tuscany; Now in its 11th year, Mad About Tuscany’s success can be measured by guests’ glowing reviews.

I feel so lucky to live on this beautiful property with my 2 children, enjoying my love of the beach, walking, dining and being able to enjoy sharing this with my guests and friends.
