Mad About Art Weekend Workshop
"MAD ABOUT ART" is a painting workshop weekend organised by renowned artist Simon Hemsley. The workshop is to be held in the picturesque surroundings of Wildwood Valley. The event will take place from Friday, June 14th, to Sunday, June 16th, 2024. Simon is the artist in residence.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. Simon covers the fundamentals of expressive drawing, as well as demonstrates more advanced approaches to the subject matter. He will mainly use watercolour; the fundamentals of this workshop can apply to all mediums.

450 ml whipping cream
275 ml full cream milk
50 ml castor sugar
1 vanilla bean
2 ½ leaves of gelatine
Method
Heat milk, cream, sugar and vanilla bean in a heavy based pot until, the sugar
has dissolved and ingredients are hot but not boiling.
Immerse gelatin leaves in luke warm water one at a time and leave to soften.
Once they are soft and pliable squeeze in your hands to release all the water.

Panettone is a fruit-flecked bread that originated in Milan, enjoyed over Christmas and New Year.
