Chocolate, Peanut and Honey Truffles

Valentine’s Day is just round the corner, and the best gift is one made with love. A dinner, a box of home made truffles, or (for all the mums with little kids) – a sleep in would be amazing!
These truffles are wonderfully simple to make. The kids always help me with the scooping and rolling – I’m sure they devour half the mixture as they work!

- 60 g butter
- 380g milk chocolate
- 110g honey
- 100ml cream
- 100g salted peanuts, chopped
- 200g dark chocolate, melted
- 50g cocoa
Place milk chocolate in a large bowl. Bring cream, honey and butter to the boil in a saucepan. Pour over chocolate and stir until chocolate has melted and is smooth. Stir through peanuts. Allow to set in the fridge. Scoop into balls and place in the freezer. Roll in dark chocolate and cocoa.
